Tours
1. Tour Prices
The price of the tour packages includes land only and are based on
tariffs and exchange rates in effect at the time of printing. The price
of land packages includes Olinad's service charge, taxes and other
charges as levied by hotel, restaurant and transportation companies. The
tour prices are guaranteed as soon as full payment is received. Olinad
reserves the right to adjust the rates according to monetary fluctuations
and to pass on any increases received from hotels, ground transportation
companies, government taxes, local guides, escorts or other similar
services before full payment is received. In case of computer or human
error, Olinad reserves the right to reinvoice for the correct price or
service. A full refund will be made to participants not wishing to pay
increases, provided a notice in writing is received by Olinad no later
than 5 days after the notification of price change.
2. Reservation Deposit and Payment
Since space is limited on all tours, early reservations are recommended.
A deposit of ITL 150,000 per person is required for booking City Packs,
Transfers, Independent Travel. A deposit of ITL 300,000 per person is
required for all Escorted Tours. A deposit of 35% of total rental is
required when booking Villas. Deposit is due within seven days and credit
card may not be used for it. No reservation is considered confirmed until
a deposit is received. Full payment is due 45 days prior to departure. If
not received, Olinad reserves the right to cancel the booking. Late
bookings (reservations made within 30 days of departure) are subject to
an additional ITL 50,000 fee, plus any costs incurred to ensure timely
delivery of documents.
3. Ground Transportation
Private deluxe air-conditioned motorcoach or other means of
transportation will be provided as specified in the itinerary. No smoking
is allowed on escorted tours.
4. Accommodation
Hotels are classified by using Italian government ratings. Olinad
reserves the right to make substitutions with hotels of similar or higher
ratings. Accommodations are based on two people sharing a twin - bedded
room with a private bath or shower. Single rooms are available at an
additional supplement. In many cases single rooms, though assuring
privacy, are small and not as well situated as double rooms.
5. Meals and Beverages
Breakfast (buffet or continental as specified in each itinerary) daily at
your hotel. Lunch or dinner will be provided at selected popular
restaurants or hotels, as specified in the itinerary. In all our meals
beverages (1/4 litre of water and 1/4 litre of wine) are always included.
6. Bed Types and Triple Rooms
Prices shown are based on existing bed types in the room. Requests for
specific bed types (twin/double) must be made at time of booking and
supply cannot be guaranteed. Triple room rates can apply to either a full
sized triple room built to take three beds or to a twin/double room with
an extra rollaway bed.
7. Sightseeing and Itinerary
Olinad provides a complete tour as per itinerary and is under the
direction of licensed local guides where required. Entrance fees are
included as specified in the itinerary. Olinad may extend or curtail the
tour because of unforeseen circumstances resulting in changes in
transportation schedules, hotel accommodations, local fairs or
conventions or other events which may impact your itinerary schedule.
8. Luggage and Porterage
Luggage travels are at the risk of the passenger and Olinad is not
responsible for any delay of, loss or damage to it or its contents.
Participants are urged to carry appropriate insurance. Porterage is
included at hotels (one piece of average - sized luggage per person + one
carry-bag).
9. Hotel Substitutions
We reserve the right to make substitutions with hotels of equal standard.
This will be the case when a strong call for a tour program demands
additional capacity.
10. Children
Minimum age for children on bus tours is 5 years. Many of our tours offer
discounts for children as third in a room. Please refer to specific
programs for applicable discounts.
11. Tour Manager
As indicated in tour features, a professional English - speaking tour
manager will assist you throughout the tour.
12. Not Included
Arrival and departure transfers for land only passengers, air fare and
any service not specifically listed on the itinerary in special: single
rooms, passport, visa, dry - cleaning & valet services, gratuities of
any kind, excess or additional baggage beyond the states allowance, all
items & expenses of purely personal nature and baggage, accident and any
other travel insurance.
13. Reservation Change
A ITL 40,000 handling fee will be assessed for each change made up to 45
days before departure. Changes made between 45 days and the day of
departure will result in additional incurred expenses.
14. Cancellations by Olinad
Tours are based on an economic minimum number of passengers, usually 16,
should this not be reached we reserve the right to cancel the tour up to
four week prior to departure. In the circumstances of cancellation we
would endeavour to offer you the choice of an alternative tour of
comparable standard subject to availability or make a prompt refund of
any money paid.

Olinad is not obliged to stand behind promises (written or verbal) made
by local hotel staff or any other persons under no direct employ by
Olinad. Olinad is not responsible for penalties incurred as a result of a
changed or cancelled flight.
16. Extensions
Any extensions to the main tour are arranged on an individual basis and
are not escorted. A special charge applies to cover costs of
administration, phones and fax. While overseas, when you depart on an
arrangement on an individual basis away from the main group, you will be
responsible for your own transportation to and from the airport or
station.
17. Validity of the programmes
Valid from January 1, 1999 to December 31, 1999.
Villas
1. Booking conditions for villas
Booking
From Saturday to Saturday and arrival/departure times will be advised on
booking voucher.
Cleaning
All villas and apartments are cleaned before renting. No cleaning service
is offered during the stay, except linen change for stays longer than a
week. Housekeeping on request at Villa Camilla (against payment).
Security deposit
A deposit must be paid in local currency to the key holder on arrival.
This amount will be refunded, less extra charges as indicated.

General Conditions
1. Responsibility
The operator, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, including
any person or entity employed or utilized by Olinad in any country
cannot be responsible for events beyond their control such as injury,
loss, damage, accident, delay or expense including without limitation,
standards of quality, hygiene, sanitation facilities, medical treatment,
cuisine, acts of God, war, strikes, incidents of politically - motivated
violence, sickness or quarantine, government restrictions or regulations
and, in the absence of their own gross negligence, arising from the use
or selection of or from any act or omission by any bus or car rental
agency, steamship, airline, railroad, taxi or tour service, hotel,
restaurant or other firm, agency, company or individual. The operator
reserves the right to decline, to accept or retain any person as a member
of any tour at any time, and a refund for the unused portion of the tour
is the limit of its liability in such an instance. Olinad cannot accept
the responsibility for hotel overbooking loss or additional expense due
to delay or changes in transportation schedule or other causes. Olinad
reserve the right to make alterations to the itineraries as found
necessary. All legal matters related to these terms and conditions shall
be directed to and litigated only through the legal system in the city of
Como, Italy. Olinad is not responsible for typographical or printing
errors.
2. Travellers with disabilities
As Olinad's vehicles are not equipped to handle wheelchairs, we have no
allowance for passengers requiring special assistance (e.g. wheelchairs
or walkers) on scheduled tours. Most cruise ships are not handicap -
accessible. Travellers who require special assistance are asked to
consider the accompaniment of responsible individuals who can provide
this help along the tour.
3. Insurance
We highly recommend that you purchase adequate and comprehensive travel
insurance before departure.
4. Refunds & Claims
All requests for refunds or adjustments must be made in writing and
received no later than 30 days after the end of the tour. Refunds will be
subject to a processing fee of ITL 50,000 plus any hotel and/supplier
charges incurred. Claims for unused services should be substantiated in
writing by local representatives. Allow six to eight weeks for processing
of refunds. No refunds for unused package tour service.
5. Passport and Visas
Passengers are responsible for ensuring that they have the proper travel
documents (passport or identity card). Passengers must check with the
respective consulate or a visa agency to determine whether visas are
required or not.
